I bought this not long after I got my puppy, and following a toileting incident on a short trip, purchased a second one so I could keep them on rotation so I could easily install the clean one when the dirty one was being laundered. This seat cover is fantasic in alot of ways. I use it in the hammock format 100% of the time, as that's what my dog prefers. I rarely have need to transport passengers in my back seat, but when I do, I'm always pleasantly surprised at how little dog hair I have to clean from the seats once I've removed this cover. (For some reason, there's always plenty of sand I still need to clean up though.) I wash them in a gentle cycle, and air dry (out of direct sunlight where possible), and then fold back into its inbuilt storage zip section for use until next time.
Even when my dog has gone for a swim somewhere, and hasn't had an adequate dry down before getting back in the car, this cover ensures the car seats don't get wet. Highly recommend.
