"I got the mongrel leash (see my other review) because it was nice and short and allowed me to properly train my dog to behave, stop twisting or pulling and stay right next to me during walks. A short leash for walking around the block has been very helpful, but whenever I go to the beach or the park I wanted to give him a longer leash so he could sniff and explore. This extension is great because it means I can keep using my mongrel leash as normal, and just take the extension along with me whenever I might need it. The shock absorption keeps my arms from getting sore on long walks. Love this product. Seems like its thicker and of higher quality than the competition too. Time will tell if it can last. As of now, highly recommended, especially to those with a mongrel leash."
